Seng Dewen(February 4, 1977) received his Ph.D. degree from University of Science & Technology Beijing, China in 2005. He was an Visiting Scholar at Western Oregon University from January 2018 to January 2019. He is now an Associate Professor, master supervisor and the Vice Director of Software Engineering Institute of Hangzhou Dianzi University, and assistant to the President and software architect of Zhejiang Aerospace Changfeng Key Enterprise Research Institute. He is one of the co-founders of Hangzhou Leibo Company Limited and Zhitifen Company Limited. He is mainly engaged in Machine Learninig, Image Processing Technology, Big Data, 3D Visualization Technology, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). He has (co-) authored more than 80 papers. His main achievements include:

From 2015 to 2018, he presided over one General Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China(No.61473108).

From 2011 to 2015, he presided over one Provincial Quality Course of Zhejiang Porvince, China.

He has presided over 7 provincial-level scientific research projects and participated in 9 provincial-level scientific research projects.

He has published more than 80 academic papers in international journals and conferences, among which 12 are indexed by SCI and 39 by EI. He has published a book named "3D Visualization Technology of Geology and Mineral Engineering". He has published a textbook named "Basic Course in Java Programming". He also wrote a handout name "OpenGL Programming and Application".

He has obtained 5 national invention patents and 2 software copyrights.

He has been awarded "Outstanding Class Teacher" twice and "Excellent Teaching Award" 3 times.

In 2013, he was selected into the "Zhejiang Young Scientist Training Program".

In 2011, he won the first prize in the 10th Zhejiang Provincial Teaching Software Competition for university teachers.

In 2010, he won the second prize of "Zhejiang Water Conservancy Technology Innovation Award".

In 2009, he was selected into the "Provincial Outstanding Rookie Teachers" of Zhejiang province, China.
